BLOOMINGTON — For a second straight week, Indiana football coach Curt Cignetti dedicated time at the start of his weekly press conference to highlight the many strengths of his team's upcoming opponent.
That meant putting Maryland in the spotlight on Monday.
One of the stats Cignetti highlighted was the Terps outscoring their opponents 175-50 through the first three quarters this season, but he left out a compelling counterpoint to that success — they have been outscored 44-7 in fourth quarter during their current three-game losing streak.
They gave up fourth quarter leads in all three games.
The losses dropped Maryland coach Mike Locksley's record in one-possession games to 10-13 overall and 2-7 over the last three seasons. The Terps notable struggles in pressure-filled moments cast
