Liberty’s arrival to Conference USA in 2023 saw the Flames go unbeaten in the regular season and earn a berth in the Fiesta Bowl while making national headlines.
It quickly established Liberty as a team that would perennially be tough to topple, especially with the school’s economic advantages.
On Nov. 1, CUSA rookie Delaware gets its chance to continue seeing if it is up to the task in the Blue Hens’ first FBS season, knowing a win at Liberty Nov. 1 would certainly garner respect and attention.
Delaware is 4-3 overall and 2-2 in CUSA games going into the 3:30 p.m. kickoff at 25,000-seat Williams Stadium in Lynchburg, Virginia.
