Yesterday not only brought a healthy and beneficial rainfall to the region, but also record rainfall! The official total at HIA was 1.87", beating the previous record of 1.39" over 100 years ago in 1917! After the rain exited, it was a decent evening with peeks of sun and temperatures in the 60s! Last night brought clouds back to the region as the winds picked up behind the storm. We can expect a cloudy start, followed by sunshine breaking out later today. Highs will be in the upper 50s with wind gusts over 40 mph today. Tie down the Halloween decorations and bundle up for trick-or-treat. It will stay breezy and chilly with temperatures in the 40s this evening.
