An emotional wave swept across Assam on Friday, October 31, as fans gathered in massive numbers to witness the release of Zubeen Garg’s final cinematic creation, Roi Roi Binale.

Theatres across the state overflowed with admirers, some attending shows as early as 4:30 a.m. — a historic first for Assamese cinema — turning the day into both a celebration and a heartfelt farewell to the beloved icon.

Director Rajesh Bhuyan, speaking to India Today NE, said, “This is the last movie in which Zubeen Da has acted.
