Happy Halloween! It's a cold morning in the Ozarks, and frost has developed in and around Springfield for the first time this season. Temperatures early are in the mid to upper 30s. We'll climb into the low 60s this afternoon, with scary bright skies today and a faint west wind.

Trick-or-treating this evening will be calm and chilly. Temperatures will still be in the upper 50s by 5 PM, but will steadily drop to near 50° by 7 PM and in the 40s by 9 PM. Clouds will increase this evening into tonight, but rain isn't expected.

We may find a few pockets of drizzle on Saturday, though, as our next storm passes through the Ozarks. Saturday will be cloudy and cold, with temperatures trapped in the low 50s and upper 40s in the afternoon. Skies will clear Saturday night, allowing temperatures to d
