This MLB postseason, the legend of Shohei Ohtani has grown to epic proportions.
Ever since he left the Los Angeles Angels and signed with the crosstown Dodgers, Ohtani has been the talk of the sport.
The Dodgers have a loaded roster with one of the largest payrolls in the sport.
Shohei has shined at the plate and on the mound for his club. The Dodgers won the 2024 World Series and are attempting to become the first team to win back-to-back titles since the New York Yankees won three in a row in 1998, 1999 and 2000.
Ohtani Mania began long before he debuted in Major League Baseball.
He was the first pick of the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters in the 2012 Nippon Professional Baseball Draft, and even as an 18-year-old rookie, he immediately developed a reputation as an elite two-way player.
