MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - The Assembly Speaker’s Task Force on Government Efficiency and Modernization is looking for opportunities to use artificial intelligence to simplify the government.

The Task Force held its first informational hearing on Thursday, inviting speakers from the state’s Department of Revenue and Department of Safety and Professional Services.

“Innovation is built on that culture and the people that we hire,” said Secretary David Casey with the Wisconsin Department of Revenue during the hearing. “I think that’s very important when we start thinking about efficiencies. It begins with the people. It ends with the people.“
