Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman today joined District Attorney Anne Donnelly, Police Commissioner Patrick Ryder, Town of Hempstead Supervisor John Ferretti, County Clerk Maureen O’Connell, and Legislator Rose Marie Walker to share Halloween safety tips for residents and families.
At a press conference at the Nassau County Police Department Training Village, County Executive Blakeman said everyone participating in Halloween activities should have fun but also take steps to make it a safe experience. He specifically noted that parents will need to be vigilant about protecting their children.
