Three people have tragically died following a serious collision involving a lorry and a car on the A4103 in Bransford, Worcestershire. The incident occurred on Thursday afternoon, prompting a swift response from emergency services. Emergency crews arrived at the scene after reports of the crash, which involved a heavy goods vehicle (HGV) and a car. The victims, two women and a man who were travelling in the car, were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the HGV was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital with injuries that are not believed to be serious. West Midlands Ambulance Service reported a significant emergency response, deploying two ambulances, three paramedic officers, and two air ambulances. A spokesperson for the service stated, "Crews arrived to find four patients in total, three from the car and one from the HGV. The three patients from the car, two women and a man, were found to be in a critical condition." Despite the immediate efforts of the ambulance staff, who began administering advanced life support, the spokesperson added, "sadly, despite everyone's best efforts, it became apparent nothing could be done to save them and they were confirmed dead at the scene." In addition to the ambulances, a MERIT trauma doctor and a critical care paramedic, along with three BASICS doctors, were also dispatched to assist at the scene. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is ongoing as authorities work to gather more information.
