Britpop legends Oasis have kicked off the Australian leg of the mammoth world tour, reuniting Down Under for the first time in two decades.
Brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher took to the stage at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne on Friday night for the first of three sold-out shows.
Frontman Liam greeted the crowd at start of the show with a message to mark the band's break.
"Are you all right? Did you miss us?" he asked.
"We missed you too."
More than 55,000 fans packed the stadium as the Britpop legends opened their comeback with a pumped-up version of Hello from their blockbuster 1995 album (What's the Story) Morning Glory?
