A Perth family of influencers trading Cottesloe for London to avoid Australia’s social media ban say they want to let the country “figure out the logistics” while they stay online.

Beck and Bec Lea said the decision to move was in part to allow their 14-year-old daughter Charli to maintain her one million followers across YouTube, TikTok and Instagram as well as pursue other opportunities.

The family, including a 17-year-old son Prezley, document their life online as the “Empire Family”.

The children also have their own accounts, where they post largely wholesome content from make-up trials and skits to toy lightsabre reviews.
