Lucas Raymond scored the lone shootout goal and the visiting Detroit Red Wings held off a furious rally by the Los Angeles Kings to pull off a 4-3 victory on Thursday.

Marco Kasper scored two goals, including one on the power play, and Alex DeBrincat added his own power-play tally plus an assist as the Red Wings extended their winning streak to three games.

Detroit goalie Cam Talbot made 35 saves through regulation and overtime, then saved all three Los Angeles attempts in the shootout.

The Kings' Corey Perry and Quinton Byfield scored in a 40-second span late in the third period to force overtime.

Alex Laferriere also scored for the Kings, who saw their points streak end at six games (4-0-2) while falling to 0-2-2 at home. Kevin Fiala recorded two assists, Byfield also had two points
