ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A bomb threat to Orange County Public Schools was deemed “not credible,” according to district officials.
The district said on Friday that it received an email similar to what was sent to other school districts that received bomb threats last week.

“After thorough review by law enforcement, this message has been determined to be not credible and is believed to be part of a broader hoax intended to cause unnecessary concern and disruption," the district said.
Because of this, as a precaution, schools will be on a brief “secure,” which could delay arrivals to high schools.
Orange County Public Schools said it is working with law enforcement to take appropriate precautions. Breaking News Alerts
