Predictions of possible snow began to swirl in Western North Carolina on Thursday, Oct. 30, but is there any truth to the buzz?
It's been a wet week in Western N.C. so far, with the precipitation forecast to die down just in time for a chilly - but clear - Halloween night. Also, in the National Weather Service forecasts, there have been chances of frost and some heavier winds. Notably absent from the official weather service forecasts is the presence of snow, though.
