A blackmailer who extorted £4,500 from a man who had sent an explicit picture has been ordered to pay back every penny to his victim. ‌

Athen Davis, 23, terrorised the 53-year-old after he shared an X-rated image with a woman Davis knew. ‌

Davis hand-delivered threatening notes to his house in Harthill, Lanarkshire , demanding payment. ‌

He said failure to pay would see the picture of his private parts shared with neighbours, police, his employer and social media.

When the terrified victim threatened to report Davis he replied he would just get a 'slap on the wrist' .

The victim handed over hundreds of pounds during trips to cash machines but eventually confided in family members and police were called in. ‌
