LOGAN — A 21-year-old service member stationed at Hill Air Force Base has been arrested for allegedly raping a Logan woman following a party in August, according to law enforcement. Kevin Joo was booked into the Cache County Jail on Monday.

According to an affidavit of probable cause, the Logan City Police were called to investigate an alleged sexual assault on Aug. 6. A woman had gone to a hospital to be exanimated and later went to the police department for an interview.

The alleged victim, stated she had met Joo on the dating app Hinge. After communicating back and forth for some time, they agreed to meet at the woman’s apartment in Logan on Aug. 2.
