In a step closer towards beginning operations at the Noida International Airport in Jewar, the first Calibration Flight by the Airports Authority of India (AAI) successfully landed at the airport on Friday, said officials.

According to officials, the calibration was conducted to test the accuracy of the airport’s navigation and communication systems. “Operation of a calibration flight is an important test that is necessary to confirm the accuracy and credibility of the airport and the flight equipment,” said the Chief Executive Officer, Noida International Airport Limited, Rakesh Kumar Singh.
