KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — WBIR's 10Tailgate and Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee's Tackling Hunger campaign may have wrapped up, but the giving doesn’t have to stop there!

Until Dec. 4, WBIR and Second Harvest are inviting every school in our viewing area to take part in a new community effort, Harvest of Hope, to help fight food insecurity across East Tennessee.

This campaign opens the door for students, teachers and families to make a difference by collecting virtual donations to support Second Harvest’s mission of feeding families in need.

At the end of the campaign, two schools will earn special recognition from WBIR: One for raising the most total money and another for raising the most per student enrolled.

Both winning schools will be featured on WBIR to celebrate their genero
