An American coffee chain’s creative marketing campaign has garnered attention Down Under — but not for the right reasons.
CC’s Coffee House, based in Louisiana, gained traction online after footage of a promotional sign at one of their location’s drive thru speaker post’s was uploaded to TikTok.
“Place your order in your best Australian accent. Get ten per cent off. Have fun with it,” the sign stated.
It was challenge accepted for one American women who pulled up to order with her friend filming from the passenger seat.
“Alright mate, can I please get a super grande iced white mocha decaf with oat milk? And can I have cinnamon on top?” she asked in an accent that sounded more like a British-American mix. Loading TikTok Post
“Was that Australian enough?” she asks the staff member.
