RIO GRANDE VALLEY, Texas (ValleyCentral) — With one day left in early voting, Cameron and Hidalgo County Elections Officials have released Thursday's numbers from all polling locations.
In Cameron County, 1,661 people cast their ballots. The Brownsville Public Library had the highest voter turnout with 402 in total. The Cameron County Harlingen Annex Building, Harlingen Cultural Arts Center, and Los Fresnos Community Center had more than 100 voters.
In Hidalgo County, 433 more voters than on Wednesday voted at the 29 polling locations. Of the 2,472 voters, 28 cast their ballots by mail.
The Elections Annex Building had over 300 voters.
Early voting ends on Oct. 31. Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 4.
