SRINAGAR, Oct 31: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday said statehood cannot be used as an excuse for underperformance.

During the UT Day celebration , Sinha said the elected Government has all the powers, and said that people should not be misled over absence of statehood.

He added that the Government should work for the welfare people of J&K.
