The Thunder Bay Police Service is investigating a death on the city's north side as a homicide.
In a media release issued Friday, police said officers responded to a 911 call around 3 p.m. on Thursday about a deceased 67-year-old man found in a residence in the 100 block of College Street.
Investigators believe the man may have been the victim of an "interrupted break-and-enter" at the home, and that the incident was not targeted.
The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
No further details have been provided.
