Ann Arbor — No one is reinventing the wheel here. The one-game-at-a-time approach, a team saying it’s 0-0 deep in a season before a game, or even the whole, be-where-your-feet-are mantra are all tried-and-true football-isms.

That doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be applied. In fact, it’s probably the best way to keep the Michigan players focused heading into their next three games against teams that are a combined 4-10 in Big Ten play. The final foe, of course, is defending national champion and top-ranked Ohio State in the regular-season finale.
