A getaway for two at the picturesque Scottish seaside town of Oban is available to book at a major discount. The accommodation has been described as "fantastic".

As reported by the Daily Record , Oban was previously named Scotland's 'Town of the Year' as part of the Scotland Loves Local Awards 2024. Judges described the town as "special", and praised its "passionate" locals and various community projects.

Oban is known as the 'Seafood Capital' of Scotland, thanks to its large number of acclaimed restaurants and takeaways. Among the many popular eateries around town are The Waterfront Fishouse Restaurant and Ee-Usk, while The Oban Fish and Chip Shop takeaway has won a number of awards.
