MONTROSE, Colo. (KREX) - A man allegedly paid with counterfeit bills at a Maverik gas station early Friday morning. Law enforcement is asking the community's help in identifying the suspect.
According to Montrose Regional Crime Stoppers, the incident occurred around 3:42 a.m., at the Maverik station, 1140 N. Townsend Ave. in Montrose. The man was seen wearing a black hoodie top, brown pats and orange ear buds.
Montrose Regional Crime Stoppers stated that anyone with information about the crime or the alleged suspect submit a tip anonymously by calling 970-249-8500, visiting P3Tips.com or using the P3 Tips app. If the tip results in an arrest, then a cash award may be given.
