The ‘Padyatra’ or Unity March was organised by the Zunheboto District Administration to mark the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on October 31. The event, held under the theme “Sardar@150: Ek Bharat, Aatmanirbhar Bharat,” commenced from the Amiphoto AOC Junction, an official statement said.

Addressing the gathering as the chief guest, Zunheboto Deputy Commissioner Dharam Raj, IAS, attended as the special guest described the event as a “celebration of unity, diversity, and patriotism.” He urged everyone to walk together in the spirit of brotherhood and to ensure that “the tricolour always rises high with pride.”

Following the inauguration, the Unity March, led by the special guest, commenced from Amiphoto AOC Junction at 7:00 a.m., making several stops along the route
