Dylon Moreira will learn on Jan. 23 whether he is guilty or not guilty of murder and two counts of attempted murder.
The date for the judgment by Justice Michael Gibson was confirmed Friday in court.
Moreira, 33, of Kitchener has pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder in the killing of his girlfriend, Vanessa Legate, 41, and not guilty to attempting to murder his mother, Diana Moreira, 51, and a seven-year-old girl.
