Trailing by a score at halftime on senior night, Pearl River needed a spark against parish rival Pope John Paul II.
Running back Gage Durand was happy to provide that flame.
The 6-foot-2, 230-pound senior accounted for four touchdowns as the Rebels rallied for a 35-21 home win on Oct. 30.
“My O-line really stepped it up, especially the guys that were filling in for our injured starters. They opened the holes and made things happen. Our guys were strong up front, and they helped make a difference. They opened big holes, allowing me good vision upfield," Durand said.
"I've had three touchdowns in a game before, but these four are really special, coming in a senior night win. That's very special for me."
