The New England Patriots are set to square off against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 9, as they are looking to earn their sixth-straight win once they take the field. However, that task may have gotten more difficult, thanks to the latest update on running back Rhamondre Stevenson’s injury status .

While Stevenson made it through the team’s win over the Cleveland Browns in Week 9, he picked up a hip injury that caused him to miss practice on Wednesday and Thursday. However, he still had a shot to take the field on Friday and give himself a chance to play on Sunday.

It doesn’t appear as if that happened, though. With the team taking the field at Gillette Stadium for practice on Friday, Stevenson was once again absent , indicating that he likely won’t be playing against Atlanta.
