The wind will be howling all day long as the gusts get as high as 40-50 mph from the west. Isolated damage, branches down, or power outages may surprise you on this spooky night.

Higher terrain and the coastline communities will see the worst of the wind today and overnight. Many areas still see 30-40 mph gusts which continue through Saturday morning.

There were over 20,000 customers without power Friday morning due to the strong winds, and there are a number of wind advisories in effect this afternoon through Saturday morning.
