The Opposition Leader says it is disappointing that the public was led to believe there was information about the Churchill Falls negotiations within Mike WIlson’s resignation letter which was released publicly by the PC government yesterday.

John Hogan says the letter simply details that Mike Wilson “misunderstood his mandate” as a member of the independent oversight panel.

Wilson also stated in his letter that he did not wish there to be “any controversy surrounding (his) decision.”

Hogan calls that “ironic” given Wilson’s public engagement during the election campaign
