How Perth UFC fighter Quillan Salkilld plans to use $50k Performance of the Night bonus after KO at UFC 321

Perth UFC fighter Quillan Salkilld has revealed how he’ll spend his $50,000 Performance Of The Night bonus after his head-kick knockout in Abu Dhabi this month went viral.

Speaking to The West Australian, Salkilld, 25, also told of the moment he thought he’d broken his foot when delivering the devastating blow in the first round of his UFC 321 bout.

Salkild (10-1-0) accepted the fight on just 10 days’ notice and managed a successful weight cut before knocking out Nasrat Haqparast on October 25.

The fighter, who left his opponent unconscious with a leg kick to the head, said he intended to use some of his $50,000 bonus to book flights to New York to watch teammate Cody Haddon fight at Madison Square Garden alongside WA’s welterweight champ Jack Della Maddelena as he defends his title aga
