(NewsNation) — As the government shutdown stretches into its fourth week, some federal workers are getting creative with side hustles to make ends meet.

Isaac Stein, a furloughed IRS attorney, has pivoted to selling hot dogs from a stand in Washington, D.C. Stein tells “Morning in America” that the stand, known as Shysters, is “the only honest rip-off in D.C.” and an idea he’d been kicking around for a while.

“In June, I'm like, ‘you know what we're going for it,’” Stein said. “I started selling in, I think, the third week in September, and then when the furlough happened on October 8… I began doing this full time.”

Stein said he has found some surprising similarities between working for the IRS and serving up hot dogs.
