GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - Titletown could soon have more chances to bring home some championships as officials with the United Soccer League (USL) and the City of Green Bay are in talks about a partnership.
According to a release from the City of Green Bay, the City and USL officials have entered into negotiations to evaluate the possibilities of Titletown being home to a men's and women's professional soccer team.
Negotiations are expected to consider key factors, including funding models and identifying a location for a stadium that would need a minimum seating capacity of 5,000 with the ability for future expansions.
