MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Slow down, Memphis.

The city is once again relaying that message to drivers as it begins to issue $50 citations to those who are caught going too fast by newly installed speed cameras. In all, 30 of those cameras were placed at 15 locations across Memphis, covering school zones and reverse curves.

Drivers previously had a 30-day warning period to slow down. But as of Thursday, drivers who are seen speeding at those camera locations will get cited.

Then, the information will be sent to a police officer, who will give the all-clear
