MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS, Ohio – A Cleveland man, 42, was arrested at about 3:30 p.m. Oct. 20 after police found ecstasy, a psychoactive drug, in his Dodge Charger.
Police saw the Charger leave the parking lot of Sonesta Simply Suites on Rosbough Drive. They were suspicious because the Charger’s windows were darkly tinted.
Police checked the Charger’s license plate number and identified the car’s owner, who was the Cleveland man. They pulled over the car after it had turned onto Engle Road.
Police noticed a marijuana cigarette in the Charger. When asked if he was carrying weapons or drugs, the man said no, “just this blunt (marijuana cigar).”
Police checked their records and learned the man had a history of drug trafficking. The man was reluctant to let police search his car, but when police
