Lower Paxton Township will shine a bit less brightly this holiday season.
The township is home to what has been dubbed the Linglestown Lights, an elaborately decorated home that has garnered attention for their all-out Christmas displays.
The displays at the home have involved over 50,000 lights set up over the property, programmed to sync up with a holiday music playlist.
More than 5,000 people a year would see the lights each year, according to Aidan Carrigan, who took on the family’s decorations each year. Over 100 cars full of people would stop by each night, he said.
But according to a post on the Linglestown Lights Facebook page , the lights won’t be seen this year.
