The jet stream dips down across New Mexico today, this will bring a breezy northwest wind into the state. Gusts up to 30 mph will be possible, especially in western and northern New Mexico where a Pacific and backdoor cold front moves in. This will bring slightly cooler temperatures in these areas. It will still be a very mild Halloween across the state, as the winds die down at sunset and temperatures cool off quickly through the evening. A few spotty showers may be possible from the northern mountains to northeast New Mexico.
