Padma Lakshmi spoke to PEOPLE about her enduring friendships with former Top Chef costars and contestants.

Lakshmi, who retired from the Bravo cooking competition series in 2023, stars in Soma’s new holiday campaign with her daughter, Krishna.

The celebrity chef will release her newest cookbook, Padma's All American , on Nov. 4.

It's been two years since Padma Lakshmi stepped away from hosting Bravo's Top Chef but she still has strong connections to the show — especially with the people.
