The Philadelphia Phillies fell short of their ultimate goal again this year, but their team could take a huge step back in the offseason.
Kyle Schwarber is headed for free agency, and the Phillies need to do everything in their power to land a reunion with the slugger. Schwarber is likely going to land a huge contract, and the Phillies have the money to be the team to land him on the open market.
NBC Sports' Matthew Pouliot recently projected Schwarber would sign a massive four-year deal worth $128 million in free agency.
