The anchors of NBC's "Today" got into the Halloween spirit in a big way Oct. 31, with a themed episode that included a nod to New Jersey's legendary music scene.
The elaborate skit in the show centered on a road trip taken by four of the show's co-hosts: Carson Daly, Savannah Guthrie, Craig Melvin and Jenna Bush Hager. The group traveled across the United States to highlight a variety of famous figures, both real and fictional, portrayed by the quartet and other "Today" personalities.
Leaving from the show's New York City headquarters, neighboring New Jersey was the logical first stop on the tour. Daly noted the Garden State's place in music history as the home to music icons like Frank Sinatra, Bruce Springsteen and Jon Bon Jovi.
