India qualified for the ICC Women's World Cup 2025 final after defeating Australia by five wickets at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on Thursday.

Jemimah Rodrigues scored an unbeaten 127, powered by 14 boundaries, propelled the Harmanpreet Kaur-led side to round off the highest succesful run chase (339) in women's ODI history.

Harmanpreet played a fine knock of 89 as well, whereas Deepti Sharma and Richa Ghosh chipped in with valuable contributions of 24 and 26 respectively at a crucial juncture of the crunch encounter.

Rodrigues and Harmanpreet stitched together a 167-run partnership for the third wicket, which rescued India from a precarious situation when Smriti Mandhana's wicket fell in the 10th over.
