They played well enough to win Thursday, head coach Alan Letang said, but had to settle for a single point in a 3-2 overtime loss to the Barrie Colts in front of 2,593 at Sadlon Arena. Article content Article content
“Now it’s just finding that small edge that puts you over for the win tonight,” Letang said. “It just feels like it’s right there. We’ve got to be able to grab it. Hopefully we rhyme off two or three in a row and start to feel good again.
“I’m not disappointed one bit in how hard those young men played tonight,” he added. “I was proud of every one of them.”
The Sting’s fourth straight loss left them tied with the Erie Otters for last place in the OHL’s Western Conference.
