1BROOKLYN, NY – A 36-year-old man was slashed in the hand during a violent altercation outside a 4th Avenue building early Saturday morning.

The confrontation began as a verbal dispute before turning physical around 2:30 a.m., authorities said.

The assailant brandished a knife, slashing the victim before fleeing the scene on foot in an unknown direction.
