DENVER (KDVR) — Authorities are looking for a suspect after the driver of a stolen vehicle reportedly crashed into multiple cars in Westminster and took off running.
The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said that just before 11 a.m., the suspect was driving a stolen vehicle out of Westminster recklessly at Arvada High School. The suspect then eluded police on West 64th Avenue.
The sheriff's office said the vehicle then crashed into multiple cars at Interstate 76 and Sheridan Boulevard at 11 a.m., then the suspect took off on foot. This is in the area of Wolff Run Park.
The sheriff's office said this wasn't an active pursuit, and there isn't a suspect description at this time.
The sheriff's office said several other agencies are helping set up a perimeter to search near the Clear Creek
