Boston Bruins forward Elias Lindholm will be sidelined multiple weeks due to a lower-body injury, head coach Marco Sturm announced Friday.

Lindholm is undergoing an MRI on Friday to determine the extent of his injury. The top-line center was hurt in a collision at center ice with Buffalo forward Jordan Greenway during the second period of Thursday's 4-3 overtime win over the Sabres.

Lindholm and Greenway appeared to bump knees as both players pursued a loose puck in the neutral zone.

Lindholm, 30, is in his second season with the Bruins. He played all 82 games in 2024-25, producing 17 goals and 47 points. He has four goals and nine points through 13 games this season.
