Syracuse, N.Y. — Syracuse University has canceled Friday’s quad walk and other pregame outdoor events due to inclement weather.
Rain is expected in Syracuse until 1 a.m., Saturday, causing Syracuse to rearrange Friday’s festivities leading up to the football game against North Carolina.
The previously scheduled children’s costume parade will still take place at 6:15 p.m., Friday but will move indoors to the upper-level concourse of the JMA Wireless Dome, the school said.
Private tents like those run by the Legend’s Society will remain open, but none run by Syracuse athletics.
The JMA Dome will also open its doors at 5 p.m., to accommodate for the rain and cancellations.
For Friday’s scheduled Orange Out, the first 40,000 fans to enter the dome will receive rally towels.
