HOUSTON (KIAH) - According to newly filed court documents, 19-year-old Lloyd Lewis and 19-year-old Jerod Jones are being charged with capital murder. The charges stem from the February shooting death of Jaden Reese, whose final moments were captured by witnesses, according to court documents.
Court records state that back in February, a witness told investigators they saw Reese pull into a driveway and park his car. Moments later, Lewis and Jones approached his car, and the three appeared to exchange something before Reese was shot several times.
According to documents, Jones pulled out a gun and fired repeatedly at Reese as he sat inside the car. Reese sped off, lost control, and crashed into a nearby ditch. Officers found him unresponsive, and he was later pronounced dead from multiple
