HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) - Halloween is in full swing today. Students at Roy G. Eversole Elementary School got an early start to some scary good fun.
Students were dressed up as witches, super heroes, princesses, and everything in between, as they sat in the gymnasium for a Halloween concert.
The Hazard High School band and choir performed for the students, with songs like the Addams Family theme and more.
“The songs that we did, spooky, scary, the Addams family theme, it wouldn’t have been right without them snapping or singing along with us,” said Hazard High School sophomore and flutist Alyssa Coots.
The concert has been in the works since the summer. Senior saxophonist Kennedy McPeek said she was very excited to perform.
