Demi Lovato has officially won Halloween 2025 by reviving one of the Internet’s most iconic memes. The Fast singer transformed herself into Poot from the viral meme, which first broke the internet nearly a decade ago. For the uninitiated, Poot first emerged on Tumblr back in 2015 after a fan posted a washed-out photo of Demi with a made-up story about her secret twin sister who had been locked in a basement her whole life. The photo went viral, sparking countless memes and jokes.

Fast forward to 2025, Demi decided it was time for Poot’s grand return. On October 30, the singer dropped an Instagram carousel showing off her Halloween look with her original meme photo for reference.
